During the winter break of 2020, my family and I plan to go to 14 trails in 2 weeks, allowing one trail per day.

Today we went on a trail with my cousin, Berkeley, and his family. We went to a different part of the Trump National Golf Course than last time. We started on the Lakeview Trail and headed off. We split into two groups, each taking a different path. One group was my dad, my mom, my sister, Alyssa, Berkeley, and me. The other group consists of Berkeley's family plus my grandmother. My group headed on the Catalina Trail to the Sagebrush Walk Trail. We then headed down to the beach via the Southshore Coastal Trail. We showed Berkeley how to make the rocks "skip" across the water. We also saw some fish and other creatures lurking around. The sun was setting, and it was now a race against time. We had to go back to our car before sunset or we couldn't see where we were going. While we were going back on the Sagebrush Walk Trail when a jolt of pain shot straight up my leg! I had accidentally poked myself on a cactus. Luckily, the damage was very minor and we could continue without delaying ourselves.
