During the winter break of 2020, my family and I plan to go to 14 trails in 2 weeks, allowing one trail per day.
Today is the 6th day! We went to the Portuguese Bend Reserve. It consists of 5.1-mile trails. We took the Burma Road Trail. It is one giant loop around lush wildlife and chirping birds. Most of the brush is dead and dry.
I took my favorite hat, the Panda Hat. It's very cute! The trail looped down to the Portuguese Canyon Creek. My dad and sister were supposed to wait for us while we were taking pictures, but they decided to hide and try to scare us. Luckily, we looked behind us to see two figures coming. Those obviously being my sister and dad. The sky started to get dark, and it was getting windy. We hurried home for a delicious Christmas Eve dinner.
